In 2001, St. John Catholic High School was one of four secondary schools in Ontario to host their own Relay For Life fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society.  Since then, the Perth high school has gone on to host more Relays than any other school in the province.

Over the past 17 years, St. John has raised more than $775,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society.

In 2015, the SJCHS Relay for Life expanded to include students from Catholic elementary schools in the surrounding area.  The fundraiser is now attended by over 1000 students annually.

The 18th annual St. John Catholic High School Relay For life will be held on Friday, May 10th, 2019.
